The Community Conversation Series is a collaborative effort by the participating municipalities of the Southeast Alberta Rural Renewal Stream. The City of Medicine Hat, Cypress County, the Town of Redcliff and the Town of Bow Island are designated communities within the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program.

The purpose of these community conversations is to create opportunities for the public to engage in dialogue around immigration and integration. The conversations will increase familiarity and provide a venue to deliberate the benefits and challenges specific to our region. The Community Conversation series will be an opportunity to discuss how immigration can work for a community and build awareness about the ways in which diversity and inclusion enrich our area.

Creating welcoming, engaged, and connected communities is a collective effort that starts with purposeful conversations at the local level. Your participation in these conversations will help shape the next steps in creating healthy, diverse, and economically successful communities that ensure long term success.
